Tangshan International Horticultural Exposition Service Area

The service area of Tangshan International Horticultural Exposition is designed as a public service node that connects the entire exposition park, providing a variety of service functions and comfortable tourist recreation space for the exposition. This design coordinated the relationship between the buildings in the service area and the environmental landscape of the park. On the basis of making full use of the characteristics of the natural environment, the natural environment resources were extended and expanded into the building space. Based on the characteristics of modularization and parametric design, we try to make some explorations and attempts in the design of large-scale expo service buildings through this project. This design can not only meet the basic public service demands required by the instantaneous large number of people in the service area, but also realize the mutual penetration between functional space and natural environment, showing a unique and restrained public service building.
